Halitosis sufferers are there times when you can smell your own breath when singing or talking?

December 1, 2011 - 8:05 pm 2 Comments

Don’t be discouraged just keep on doing your research and work together for a cure that can be provided for all. And if you find a cure don’t seek to make money from it or try to sell it but out kindness and empathy for chronic-halitosis sufferers provide it for free and instruct others how to make such a remedy,.Have you found any remedies yet ?

You need to clean out your bowels. The bowels are the sewer of your body. If they’re gunked up with rotting food (the average person carries between 9-25 lbs. of fecal matter (poop), your breath will stink.

Food needs to be digested, since it can take up to a week to poop out what you eat today.

What should I do for constant halitosis?

November 7, 2011 - 10:15 pm 1 Comment

I take great care of my oral hygiene, I brush floss and use mouthwash regularly. I eat healthy foods, however I am constantly bothered by halitosis. Looking for a remedy.

Hello: You are on the right road….what about your tongue, you can buy a dental tongue scraper at the dollar store, clean your tongue as many times during the day as per necessary, to avoid the build up of that whitish appearance. Also, have you given thought as to the REAL REASON behind your halitosis ?? Could be a stomach ailment/gastrointestinal..Don’t know your age, could be a peptic ulcer, dental caries.I am no M.D. but have it checked out..Ask your dentist, he/she must be already aware?? Mouthwashes ONLY mask the problem they DONOT solve it.. GOOD LUCK

How do I break it to my boss that he has hair curling, vomit inducing halitosis?

March 4, 2011 - 9:51 am 2 Comments

My boss has the vilest breath that I’ve ever come across. Whenever we have to speak face to face I help myself to a breath mint and casually offer him one. He generally accepts, which makes the next few minutes bearable but doesn’t take a hint. Apart from telling him outright, how can I let him know that he needs to do something about this?

HA HA HA, I had a problem almost like this with my room mate, I gave him a Easter basket with shampoo, body wash, and deo. But mabe for his breath give him a tooth brush, tooth paste, and mouth wash

In the mouth of the most people there is halitosis, but they kiss often?

February 8, 2011 - 10:03 am 2 Comments

The halitosis is a trait inherent of human being, liking kissing is also a trait inherent of human being, the two traits are contradictory.

Halitosis is just the clinical name for "bad breath". People can have bad breath for a variety of reasons. Some it is due to bad oral hygiene and will normally have chronic halitosis. Some could be due to the foods they ate recently, which causes temporary bad breath. Still others may get it due to a health issue such as diabetes, lung infections, and cancer.

Odors can please as well as disgust us. If a person you are involved with has bad breath, it can definitely be a turnoff.

But here is the problem…you state that halitosis is a trait inherent of human beings. I disagree. There are certainly people in the world that have no noticeable odor from their mouth.

And as for kissing, unless you are involved in the exchange of saliva (ie French kissing), there is no need to consider kissing and halitosis as two opposite ends of the spectrum. I don’t kiss with my nose, nor do I exhale at the other person when kissing.

Linking these two is almost like saying flatulence and chairs are contradictory, since someone may fart on the chair and no one else will want to sit there ever again.

What is the meaning of halitosis?

November 30, 2010 - 2:31 am 2 Comments

That glittering romance that has loomed on your horizon for weeks will remain out of reach until you take care of that halitosis. By the time you make a dentist’s appointment, your window of opportunity will have closed. I don’t understand this paragraph.

Halitosis means bad breath. Now re-read the paragraph and it will make more sense. The reference to the dentist is that most people with bad breath go to the dentist to make sure it is not caused by a dental problem.

has anyone (and if how) been cured from halitosis due to coated tongue?

November 9, 2010 - 4:51 am 3 Comments

I suffer from chronic halitosis. I can see over my tongue a green/brown sticky layer of bacteria (=coated tongue). Tongue scraper does not function. My oral hygiene is perfect. Has anyone had the same problem? How did he/she treat it? Did she/he take antibiotics? Please help me, many doctor visited me and I still suffer from halitosis.

you should consult a doctor! Im sure there is something they could do about it :)

Is there a home remedy readily available to combat halitosis?

July 24, 2010 - 9:18 am 7 Comments

Can not afford any dental products.

also know that kidney problems can cause halitosis….
really bad halitosis, you should see your doctor if your mouth is clean, and you are taking probiotics, and being healthy.
otherwise , mix baking soda with some hydrogen peroxide and swish in your mouth a few minutes, and spit out
It kills skunk odor, it will kill bad breath.

Terrible Halitosis that wont go away with tongue scraping?

May 30, 2010 - 12:49 pm 2 Comments

I’ve recently become plagued with terrible bad breath. I have a simple plastic tongue scraper, and it doesn’t seem to be orking well. My breath is really rank, and it’s very annoying. What else can I try, other than going to a dentist?

Bad breath can often originate from your gums rather than your tongue alone. Many times it doesn’t even originate from your mouth at all, it’s a pH issue. If mouthwash and dental materials aren’t working, OTC pills exist for it. If none of that works, a dentist is your best bet.
