Hello: You are on the right road….what about your tongue, you can buy a dental tongue scraper at the dollar store, clean your tongue as many times during the day as per necessary, to avoid the build up of that whitish appearance.Also, have you given thought as to the REAL REASON behind your halitosis ?? Could be a stomach ailment/gastrointestinal..Don’t know your age, could be a peptic ulcer, dental caries.I am no M.D. but have it checked out..Ask your dentist, he/she must be already aware?? Halitosis is just the clinical name for "bad breath". People can have bad breath for a variety of reasons. Some it is due to bad oral hygiene and will normally have chronic halitosis. Some could be due to the foods they ate recently, which causes temporary bad breath. Still others may get it due to a health issue such as diabetes, lung infections, and cancer.

Odors can please as well as disgust us. If a person you are involved with has bad breath, it can definitely be a turnoff.

But here is the problem…you state that halitosis is a trait inherent of human beings. I disagree. There are certainly people in the world that have no noticeable odor from their mouth.

And as for kissing, unless you are involved in the exchange of saliva (ie French kissing), there is no need to consider kissing and halitosis as two opposite ends of the spectrum. I don’t kiss with my nose, nor do I exhale at the other person when kissing.

Linking these two is almost like saying flatulence and chairs are contradictory, since someone may fart on the chair and no one else will want to sit there ever again.

Halitosis means bad breath. Now re-read the paragraph and it will make more sense. The reference to the dentist is that most people with bad breath go to the dentist to make sure it is not caused by a dental problem.

otherwise , mix baking soda with some hydrogen peroxide and swish in your mouth a few minutes, and spit out
It kills skunk odor, it will kill bad breath.

Bad breath can often originate from your gums rather than your tongue alone. Many times it doesn’t even originate from your mouth at all, it’s a pH issue. If mouthwash and dental materials aren’t working, OTC pills exist for it. If none of that works, a dentist is your best bet.
