I’m constantly thirsty, but I only have a dry throat, not a dry mouth. What does this mean?

I’m drinking plenty of water throughout the day, but I still feel thirsty. The strange thing is that my mouth isn’t dry, and I’m producing plenty of saliva. However, my throat constantly feels dry, and no matter how much water I drink the dryness doesn’t go away. What is the problem, and what can I do to fix it?

Are you diabetic? If you have diabetes, this can cause excessive thirst. If you don’t have it, maybe get your blood sugar levels checked.
