Why do I have dry mouth when there is no reason for me to?

I’m not on any medications, I drink about 12 glasses of water a day, and I don’t smoke. All of a sudden about a year ago, I got dry mouth that just won’t go away. Why?
This is a fluid and electrolyte problem, sounds like. I would see your doctor and get blood levels drawn. It may that you just need to up your intake of electrolytes; however, depending on any other symptoms, it may be something more. (Also, drinking over 64oz (8 8oz glasses) of water a day leads to increased thirst because water stimulates thirst)…however, it is important to see your doctor. Dry mouth is the first sign (early sign) of dehydration and f/e problem…so get blood levels drawn soon.

could be one of those things where there is no answer for it and so if it doesnt give you pain i would ignore it cause im a paraplegic and take many pills and out out of all my probs the dry mouth is like the very least of irritation and i do know how horribal dry mouth is. you cant talk or swallow, you cant think of anything else but how dry your mouth is and how uncomfy it is.
