usually the halitoss is due to plaque.plaque is something on your teeth that can be removed when u brushes your teeth.but sometimes if plaque still presence, then it will cause halitosis.some people may have halitosis if they have dry mouth.dry mouth can either be due to stress or some underlying medical problem.if u think you have dry mouth, then you can practice frequent sipping of water or chew chewing gum.but if it doesnt help, then you should meet your dentist and ask for professional advise

Have you seen a dentist recently? You may have dental problems like a decayed or infected tooth.

How long has it been since you’ve been to the dentist?? Most adults have periodontal disease and don’t even know it. Periodontal disease is a serious gum infection in your mouth that can cause bad breath (and other serious health issues) to the point of it being offensive. If you also have a bad taste in your mouth, it could be the infection from your gums that you taste, or a decayed tooth. There’s nothing you can do to get rid of the smell besides going to the dentist. Brushing your teeth & tongue and using mouthwash will only mask the smell. It will eventually come back.
