whats funny is some …
whats funny is some people have to do other things to reduce bad breath – such as remove their tonsils. Because of tonsilitis or chronic drainage of nasal passageways — which can cause tonsiliths. (those stinky balls of globs stuck in the tonsils)

My tonsils have problems where I think it’s food that gets stuck on them.
Like if I eat a soft pretzel, a piece of it will be stuck on my tonsil, I see something there too.
Is that food… is the question. Idon’ tknow
I feel something on my tonsil. I see it. I try to get it off with my finger. it wont come off

I developed this …
I developed this same problem starting around probably 16. It was horrible. What 16 year old is going to feel confident knowing their breath is horrible, regardless of how many times they brush? And I wouldn’t suggest poking around back there. My doctor said it was a very bad idea. Poor hygeine is not the reason for them. The only way to rid them for good is a tonsilectomy. I’m 20 now, and so glad I did it. For a week you’ll wonder why the you did it, but after you’ll never look back.

First thing’s first …
First thing’s first: you need to talk to your doctor about it. They’ll have a much better understanding of how to treat you.
Second: Despite what your family says, tonsils are NOT crucial to the body. It’s best if they stay in, but that’s true of any “disposable” body part. In other words, you won’t die if they’re taken out. It’s the same with wisdom teeth: if they don’t have to come out, great. If they do, no big deal. Definitely talk to your doctor about it.

Maybe you should …
Maybe you should get them removed if it’s that bad. Dealing with throat problems too long isn’t good for you.

I suggest removal. …
I suggest removal. I didn’t have tonsil stones but chronic tonsillitis. Since having them removed, my health has been great. I had serious sinus and throat problems. I was 23 and the surgery hurt like crazy. I would definitely recommend it since you have been suffering for sooooo long.
